Tijuana, B.C. México, August, 1, 2012, - Miraco Inc., an innovative design and engineering company in the interconnection system industry, expands its manufacturing capacity and customer support from a new location in Tijuana, México.

This new facility, Miraco Inc South operations is working under the Maquiladora program (IMMEX) and is located in a new 10,000 sq. ft. class “A” building just fifteen-miles south from the Tijuana/San Diego international border and houses the value added-service site for the corporation. At this phase Miraco South exclusively will hold just manufacturing operations while design, engineering and business development will remain at Miraco’s headquarters.

Now with this strategic-nearshoring-location, the company is strengthening its presence in the west coast and expanding into the Mexican Maquiladora market.

Miraco South operations is working right around the clock, in just a few months the facility has achieved ISO 9001-2008, IPC A 610 and IPC J std 001 Certifications. "This is yet another example of our continued growth and efforts to better serve our customers and provide them with timely, cost-effective solutions," said David Bouley President. "We anticipate these changes to result in the creation of additional engineering and quality support jobs in our Manchester facility within the next two years."

After a few months working-out the project, back in the summer of 2011 Jonathan Anderson CEO, David Bouley President and Douglas Bulmer Engineering Manager at Miraco Inc met with Estrada y Asociados to review the company expansion plan, analyze business critical data and reviewed Baja locations, Tijuana industrial sites, business models, overall operating cost and local partnerships in order to decide starting the ball rolling for the new venture.
